Maggie is based in a Liverpool household during
the 1970’s.
Set in the room that mother never dares to leave. Maggie,
her youngest daughter, and her primary carer is desperate
for help and needs to escape. Her siblings have their own
lives to lead and are reluctant to lend a hand. She eventually
wears her younger brother down and he agrees to look after
mother for the night. It is the night that will tear a family
apart and from which they will never recover.
Maggie, is based on a true story.
